Transferees issued a membership prior to August 1st, of any given year, will be subject to a two (2) season wait period for hunting privileges to commence.  Transferees issued a membership after August 1st, of any given year, will be subject to a three (3) season wait period for hunting privileges to commence

 

You will receive a confirmation email once your application is submitted.

 

You will receive an email for payment information after the deadline of June 20, 2026.  After this date, applications for tags will be locked in.  Due date for all payments, work hours completed or paid for by August 1st, 2026 @5pm

Hunting Requirements:

  • A Full Member in Good Standing with a Membership Purchased Prior to August 1, 2024

  • Attend Annual Hunter Orientation, BEFORE your Hunting Season

  • Complete 6 Hours of Approved Service at ECR or pay $240.00 by August 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM

  • Application Fee: Bull Elk $100 if drawn. Cow Elk $75 if drawn.

  • May 2nd– 8:00 AM Hunter Orientation, 9:00 AM Work Day

  • June 6th – 8:00 AM Hunter Orientation, 9:00 AM Work Day (Elk auction and drawings)

  • August 1st – 8:00 AM Hunter Orientation, 9:00 AM Work Day

Deer Hunters

Deer hunting will be ONE tag per membership.

 

Elk Hunters

If successful in the Archery Bull Elk Draw, ECR follows state regulation to allow the harvest of either sex.

​

East Canyon Resort has one Auction Bull and one Auction Cow. The Auction will be held on June 6, 2026, at the Hunter Orientation Meeting starting at 8:00 AM. You or your representative must be present to bid and payment is due at that time. The winner of the Bull Elk Auction Tag will be allowed to pick from all three (3) seasons. It is the Hunter’s responsibility to purchase a State Tag. All Elk Hunting Rule and Requirements apply.
