Congratulations to our re-elected board members, Judy Thomas and Mike Baldassari and to our newest board member Corey Barton.
Dear East Canyon Resort Member,
For several years East Canyon Resort has mailed the Annual Newsletter, Activity Flyer, Hunting Applications and additional information to its members. This has been a great tool to provide information and to keep members up-to-date with what is going on at the Resort. In the past several years however, the Resort has seen an increased cost of printing and mailing this information to its members. With the advancement of technology and increased access to the internet, this has provided the Resort an alternative delivery system that is more timely, interactive, cost effective and modern. East Canyon Resort will now be posting all this information to its website for its members and will no longer be mailing hard copies. The Resort and the Board of Directors feel this is a great step for the future.
The Resort has also been working on a new website that will provide better information for its members. Not only will it have the Newsletter, Activity Flyer and Hunting Applications, but it will also include upcoming Board and Committee meetings, Member Service Days at the Resort, Rule changes, Resort member activities and much more. We encourage our members to visit the new website and check back continually as this will be a source of current information. Please let us know if there is something you would like to see added to our website. We look forward to seeing you at East Canyon Resort!
East Canyon Resort Management and Board of Directors
Dear East Canyon Owner:
The timeshare industry continues to be plagued by various “Relief and Rescue” companies and “Vacation Clubs” making various promises to reduce or eliminate maintenance fees or to assist owners in exiting from their timeshare ownership. Sadly, many owners continue to fall victim to these tactics often losing thousands of dollars while continuing to be responsible for past and potentially future maintenance fees.
It has recently come to the attention of your Board of Directors that a “Relief and Rescue” company is communicating with East Canyon Owners. Please be advised that The East Canyon Resort has no affiliation with the “Relief and Rescue” company and has not authorized it, or any other sales company, to contact you regarding reducing or eliminating your maintenance fees, renting out your timeshare, or helping you exit from your East Canyon ownership. Please exercise extreme caution in all dealings with any third party company that contacts you regarding your East Canyon ownership. You should be skeptical of any company that makes such representations.
Your best resource regarding any questions you may have regarding your East Canyon ownership is your East Canyon General Manager Bryce Spere. Please feel free to contact him at (877) 767-8400 with any questions you may have regarding any company that contacts you. The Board also encourages you to review the Consumer Advisories page of the American Resort Development Association at www.arda.org/advisories. You’ll find helpful hints there that may very well save you thousands of dollars and a tremendous amount of future anguish.
