Options For Cancelling Your Membership

Sell Membership

Memberships must be approved to sell by the Board of Directors. To be approved to sell, you must be current on your maintenance fees (fully paid or current on payment plan), and owe no additional fees/fines. To get approved to sell, please submit this Intent to Sell form to memberservices@eastcanyon.com.

 

After being approved to sell, you will be sent all the necessary paperwork & information to sell and transfer your membership to your buyer. If you don't have a buyer in mind, you may list the membership on websites such as KSL Classifieds or Facebook Marketplace.

There is a $300 Transfer Fee to transfer the membership into your buyer's name. This can be paid by either the Buyer or Seller at time of transfer.

Transfer Membership

Want to keep your membership in the family? You can transfer your membership into a family member's name to ensure that enjoying East Canyon Resort remains a family tradition!

 

Family Transfers include a discount on the standard transfer fee of $300, costing just $150 to complete! If you are interested in transferring your ECR Membership to a family member, please reach out to Member Services at the information below!

Withdraw Membership

If you wish to simply return the membership back to the resort, you may follow our withdrawal process. To withdraw your ECR Membership, you must be fully paid off on the current year's maintenance fees with no outstanding fees/fines.

 

To withdraw your ECR Membership, you must fill out this Assignment of Share of Stock form, in which you will assign the membership back to East Canyon Resort. This form must be notarized and mailed to/dropped of at the resort.

 

You will also have to return your Stock Certificate and Member ID(s) back to the resort, or fill out this Waivers of Release form, acknowledging they are no longer valid after the withdrawal of your membership.

There is a $300 processing fee to withdraw your membership, which covers administrative costs of both withdrawing and reselling your membership. You must also provide Death Certificates for any deceased members. â€‹
